A recent report conducted by two Harvard economics professors shows that Orange County Florida is the 4th hardest county in the US for kids to escape poverty. Children from low-income families in Orange county earn 13.4% less then the national average, by the age of 26. The average Income for a low-income family at the age of 26 in Orange county is about $22,500. While in DuPage, Illinois the average Income for a low-income family at the age of 26 is $30,000.
